Who we are

This website is run by Peak Performance (Middlestown), a strength and powerlifting coaching gym in Wakefield (Middlestown, WF4). What we collect and why

When you send us a message. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message. Your message is stored on this website and emailed to us so that we can reply to you. We keep it until we delete it.

When you book an intro session. If you book online, we collect your name, email address, phone number, any notes you add, the time you choose and the coach you choose. We use them to arrange and confirm your session, to send you a confirmation and to contact you about the booking. If we connect our calendar to the booking system, your booking also appears in our calendar and you may receive a calendar invitation. We keep booking records until we delete them.

When you buy a coaching package. If you buy a package online, we collect your name, email address and the details of your order so that we can arrange your coaching and keep a record of the sale. Your payment is taken by Stripe, our payment provider, on its own secure pages. We never see or store your card details.

Who looks after your information

This website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design, who process this information on our behalf and deliver the website's emails. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

Cookies

The website sets a session cookie and a security cookie that every visitor needs for the site to work, for example to keep a booking or a basket together and to protect the forms from misuse.

The website's own visitor counts are cookieless: they do not set any cookie or identify you.

If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first, and nothing will be set unless you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. To do any of these, email us at team@peakperformancegyms.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
